The almond tree is native of Asia.

Its spread in the Mediterranean basin dates back to the 5th century BC by the Greeks.

Almonds are widely used in the Sicilian confectionery industry, especially: in the production of confetti, royal paste, granita, almond milk, almond paste and creams.

Ingredients

Peeled almond (30%), sugar, oils (sunflower oil and coconut oil) and fats (cocoa butter) non-hydrogenated vegetables, skimmed milk powder, whey powder, emulsifier: soy lecithin, ethyl-vanillin aroma.

May contain traces of other nuts (pistachio, walnuts, hazelnuts) sesame, eggs, peanuts and cereals containing gluten.
