Product history and connotation/ territory

The story between oranges and Sicily is a love story of complicity, acceptance and respect.

Thanks to the Arab expansion, citrus fruits crossed the Asian borders and arrived to the West, also landing in Italy.

This land represents a real cradle for citrus fruits.

The climate, the wind and the mild winters favor the growth of oranges, which in a first phase are bitter and yellow, turning into sweet and red.

Between the XVIII and the IX centuries, Sicily assumed a strategic position for the cultivation and marketing of citrus fruits, thus becoming the world reference point, under the productive aspect.

Ingredients

60% blond oranges, sugar, blonde orange peel, lemon juice, gelling agent: pectin.

May contain traces of milk, celery and nuts (pistachio, almonds, walnuts).
